WhatsApp launches QR code scan and pay feature

Currently available in beta (Android only), WhatsApp has launched QR code scan and pay feature.

WhatsApp Android beta users will need to go to Settings > Payments > New Payments > Scan QR code.

You will now be directed to the QR code scanning option that will ask you to enter the amount you wish to send and it will also ask for UPI PIN for verification
